September 2025

I just wanted to share that my son is so proud of receiving a certificate that he slept with it at nap time after swimming yesterday and at night last night. He told his dad all about how he got his certificate. Thank you all for being so great with your students, he loves swimming.

Thanks again!

I am sending you this E-mail and attached videos of V working with my Gr. Nephew. She is kind, patient and professional. Having such a young instructor work so diligently with a non-verbal autistic child with sensory needs and also has cerebral palsy is very impressive. She has earned his trust allowing him to progress. She asks questions to assist her in ways to work with him that won't break that bond of trust she has built. She gives him certain ques and praises him when he picks up on them.

I also want you to know how much I appreciate V's perseverance. She is a true leader and worth her weight in gold. Please feel free to show this E-mail with V because she deserves it.

Thank you for your time

December 2025

Hello. My daughter had a lesson with V today. She absolutely LOVED her. She put her face in the water in the first 10 minutes, after trying to get her to do it since we started lessons. Thanks!

May 2026

Hi all, I want to thank you for the hard work you put into teaching your classes. Yesterday, my daughter swam her first independent strokes with Becky. As I was watching the tape at home afterwards I was beaming with pride.

Watching her struggle with eyes under for months, and then jump to eyes under to independent strokes within 3 weeks, is for me proof of paleontologist and evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould's theory of punctuated equilibria. As the figure suggests, most people think evolution comes in a perfect linear pattern, but rather Gould's theory suggests there are long periods of slowwwww evolution, and then giant bursts. When it comes to growth in our lives, the lesson is one just needs to be patient during those slow periods. I struggled with that patience, but I now feel rewarded.

I'm in awe of how you all maintain your enthusiasm and patience.

Many thanks again
